Firstly, thank you all so much for you support of the Kickstarter and company our company in general. Seriously, it's because of your support we're able to come in every day and do what we love. Thank you.

Moving Forward

"What happens now?" you might ask. Well, now there comes a little bit of waiting. In two weeks on September 14th everyone will receive their Backerkit surveys. To stress this again October delivery backers will only have two weeks to answer their surveys. On September 28th, we will be locking all October surveys that have been answered down and planning/launching production. One week after that, on October 5th, the remaining pledges will be locked down and all cards will be charged. Then - the dreaded final wait.

We do realize our Kickstarters/Backerkit surveys can be a little confusing, so if you receive your survey and are a little lost, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. 

Late Pledges

As many of you know we typically have the option to late pledge for our campaigns, which will be happening with this campaign. There will be a short delay on these being up and running however, so if you have a friend who missed the campaign let them know to keep an eye out! 

Closing Remarks

Lastly, we just want to thank you all again. We can't wait to start building pledges and rolling the dice for everyone. Are you feeling lucky?

250k Stretch Goal, New Challenger, Pledge Manager, and Dice

250k Stretch Goal Reached!

With that, ALL SEVEN logo dice are unlocked for every backer, as well as Douglas Fir, Bloodwood, and Macassar Ebony.

 Douglas Fir, a lighter wood both in color and weight has very soothing straight grain patterns frequently. 

Bloodwood can vary from an orange coloration as seen in the photo to a deep red.

Last but certainly not least, Macassar Ebony commonly features the contrast you can see in the photo, between the dark ebony color and the orange/tan streaks.

275k Stretch Goal Added

Although the campaign is nearing its end, we wanted to add a new stretch goal to add more things to be excited about. We can't wait to reveal the goal to you, we think you'll enjoy! 

Less than 60 hours left!

As we near the end of the campaign, we wanted to discuss the proceedings afterwards. For one week after the campaign, Kickstarter will attempt to charge all cards. If there is an issue with your card for whatever reason, you will have time to fix it. 

If, after this one week period, there is still an issue with your card, the pledge will fail and you will be dropped from the campaign completely. This does not mean that you are out of luck, however! If this occurs, please reach out to us and we will be able to coordinate with you from there.

Two weeks after the campaign ends on September 14th, Backerkit surveys will go out. Now, this is very tight for our initial delivery tier, so October backers please be prepared to answer your surveys fast! 

New Dice Samples Are In!

As some of you may know, we have been sourcing new dice after having stocking issues with our current company. Here is a sneak peak of the dice we have on order that will be available for purchase in the pledge manager for this campaign.

Wow, 275k already hit since our update yesterday! We're sure you're curious to see what was unlocked, so let's just jump into it.

More chances at the Dungeon Master and Mistress of Maps tiers in RTD! We saw the complaints lodged at the additional Celtic Knot unlock for the DM Tier, and wanted to add an additional stretch goal to make the Celtic Knot unlock more meaningful for everyone.

To clarify the odds as well, we rearranged them a bit. 10 backers total will be receiving Dungeon Master tier, and the odds of receiving a Mistress of Maps tier roll has been increased to 5/300 from 1/300. In addition, to compensate for more chances being added to the pool, the odds of receiving Cherry, Black Walnut, and Purpleheart are lowered.

Now we truly are out of stretch goals! Thank you so much for the support this campaign has received, we can't wait to begin production!

Stretch Goals Smashed! Unlocked Woods and Truly Strapping Straps!

Hi Backers,

A long overdue update here (thanks, Gen Con! :P) - we've unlocked more stretch goals! 125k, 150k and 175k  have all been reached since our last update!  Without further ado, let's take a look at all the new options you've made available! 

$125,000 Unlock

Two new woods - longtime favorites Bocote and Katalox are now available! 

Some of you may recognize Katalox, in particular.  For a time, it was part of our Core 16 lineup, and no doubt many will be pleased to see it available once again.  As for Bocote, while not ever part of our standard rotation, we've featured it in many campaigns and it's a favorite of ours, with striking contrast and gorgeous grain designs.

$150,000 Unlocks 

What does $150,000 get you?  Three new custom strap designs, that's what!  Also unlocked, the option to add patterns to the ends of your custom strap!  If you're into all things medieval (more Ren Faire than Pulp Fiction), it's never been easier to nail the look in your Complete System than it is now.

New Strap Profiles - Square Dag, Slanted, Swallow Tail

 All 10 banner profiles you can select from

One quick note - these patterns were designed alongside the medieval-inspired straps that got unlocked at this level, and are best used in combination with those designs (or similar designs with lots of surface area to show off the pattern).  Some examples where the pattern will have the space it needs to shine: Pointed, Triple Pointed, Rounded Point, Square Dag, Slanted and Swallow Tail. Profiles such as Ouroboros, Dragon Wing, Angel Wing or Flame may not be the best fit - from our subjective point of view, of course.  But you're free to select any combination that you suits you.

$175,000 Unlocks

$175,000 opens up more wood options!  One light, one dark, like ebony and ivory... but, you know, not either of those, because one is already available, and the other isn't wood.  But I digress.  Here's Alder and Ziricote!

What an intense launch! In less than a day we are nearly on track with the Adventurer's Arsenal, which has been our most successful campaign to date. Thank you so much for your overwhelming support of the campaign!

 Without further ado, let's get into the specific details. What happens once the campaign wraps up?

Pledge Manager  

After the campaign, we will be using a pledge management system. As you've noticed, when you pledge on Kickstarter, you pick a reward tier - on this project, that means you pick a delivery date - and you pledge a dollar amount. No further information on what you're pledging for is collected.  

For that, we need to turn to a survey. Kickstarter has a built-in tool for this, but given how many items there are and the nature of the campaign, we prefer to use a more full-featured option: a pledge manager. A link will be sent to you automatically after the campaign as soon as it's ready.  

We'll give further details later on, especially towards the end of the campaign, but using the pledge manager will allow you to:  

1) Choose your desired items and ensure the total, including shipping, is calculated correctly.  

2) Add items to your pledge, and pay any outstanding balance.  

3) Give us any additional information we need to fulfill your order.  

It's a great tool, and we'll give you more information on it as the campaign nears its conclusion. 

Stretch Goals

We've reached our first stretch goal and we're extremely close to the second.

Stretch goal #1, at 50k funding, unlocked one free die for every backer and three new woods - Teak, Bubinga, and Marblewood!

 We look forward to unlocking more stretch goals, we have some exciting ones coming up :)

Roll The Dice: Adventurer's Arsenal and Dice Tower

This has been a frequent enough question it should be addressed - if you backed the Adventurer's Arsenal campaign, opted for a Roll the Dice piece, and would like to get a matching item from this campaign, please let us know! We would be happy to look up your Roll the Dice result and send it your way.
