The Magnetic Dice Tower - Bespoke Edition campaign was the first time Wyrmwood returned to a prior design on Kickstarter.  We had a lot of fun with all of the options in the campaign, especially the Mistress of Maps tier.  In our latest campaign, we've brought back that option, as well as offering a new Maker of Monsters tier in the same vein!  Keep reading for more information on the Hero Vault 2.0!

Magnetic Dice Tower Fulfillment Update: June 2019

Hello, everyone!

At this point, we're down to stragglers: orders where we've had material shortages, last lingering pre-orders, etc.  In rare cases, we're reaching out to you directly, but for the most part orders should be almost entirely shipped, or missing one or two items.  We fully expect the next update to be our announcement that fulfillment has entirely concluded.

We're down to fewer than 50 orders that have not shipped (vast majority being pre-orders), and most of these are at least partially ready, just missing one item.  There are also a significant number of orders for which surveys were never completed - meaning that items were never selected in the add-ons phase.  We have reached out to those backers directly, but in some cases have not heard back.  We will continue to follow up with those backers.

Dungeon Master Tiers

As our DM Tier backers are aware, we faced a lot of challenges with material shortages and other headwinds during construction of these elaborate pieces; the majority have been completed, but we still have about 10 DM towers to create.  At this stage we have all the materials and will be wrapping those up in the coming weeks - we sincerely apologize for the lateness of these pieces.  Unfortunately, due to the temperamental nature of the materials and the high-skill nature of the work involved, they simply could not be rushed - nor would doing so be advisable or in keeping with the quality and attention to detail we believe these pieces should receive.  Nonetheless, we are forging ahead and will get these completed as quickly as possible.

Magnetic Dice Tower Fulfillment Update: May 2019

We're checking back in with a production update, as we near the end of fulfillment.

Production Rates & ETA

Reviewing our outstanding orders and our build lists, we currently estimate fulfillment to be 100% concluded in the next two to three weeks, with all production set to be finished in just under two weeks.  We have fewer than 300 orders left to ship in total, with campaign tiers comprising fewer than 100 of these (with the remaining two-thirds being pre-orders).

At this stage, we're producing at a rate of:

300 Dice Vaults per week (-50 from last update)

200 Personal Dice Trays per week (+50 from last update)

75 Dice Towers per week (constant from last update)

Production has been shuffled to target the greatest needs, while moving resources from those that we need less of - these numbers are what we base the above completion estimates on.   Thank you for your patience while we complete the final runs of orders!

Magnetic Dice Tower Fulfillment Update: April 2019

 We're checking back in with a production update, as we near the end of fulfillment.

Production Rates & ETA

Reviewing our outstanding orders and our build lists, we currently estimate fulfillment to be 100% concluded on or around the end of the month (through March and Pre-Orders).  This is based on a forecast that takes into account our current production rates.

At this stage, we're producing at a rate of:

350 Dice Vaults per week

150 Personal Dice Trays per week

75 Dice Towers per week

We're taking measures to increase these rates, as well.

DM Tier Update

Hello Everyone!

First, let us apologize for the communication thus far - we've been working behind the scenes, but have had a major frustration - namely, material availability.  Specifically, the Ebony stringing required for these pieces has been very difficult to source.  We were finally able to source a quantity of suitable veneer, but still had to create the stringing ourselves.

At this point, happily, we have the November tier batch of towers nearly complete, and those will be shipping out, most likely, next week. We expect them to be completed this week.  Some photos of this batch are included below.

We should have materials ready to begin the next batch immediately once the current batch is complete, and don't expect further delays due to these material issues.  We're again very sorry for the delays with these pieces - while it's understood that these are high-detail pieces that require extra care and time to create, delays like the ones we've had are decidedly not the norm, and have been deeply frustrating for us - and for you, as well.

We will post further updates on the expected timeline of the other tiers as soon as one can be reasonably made, but with the materials in and our bespoke specialist working on them full-time, we expect to proceed as quickly as possible with such labor-intensive pieces.
