Good News Everyone!

No, really!  We have news, and it's pretty good, so... let's get right to it!

Fulfillment Update

Production continues full steam ahead, and shipping is beginning as we speak! Unfortunately, we expect fulfillment to bleed into November, but production is going strong and we are hitting the ground running. Be on the lookout for shipping notifications! :)

Dice, Dice, Baby

(Look, we know that was bad. We'd like to say we're sorry, but... we're not. But we're definitely sorry that we're not sorry. So, at least there's that? Let's... just move on.)

The dice have arrived, just in time!  We had been a bit concerned that we wouldn't be able to ship these with pledges, but they've arrived and will be going out to you soon, both logo dice and full polyhedral sets.

The Lovecraft Collection: Last Chance!

While you're waiting for your Tower pledges to arrive, you can also check out our latest project, a limited edition series of Dice Vaults, intended as a tribute to the works of horror legend H.P. Lovecraft, most famous for creating the Cthulhu Mythos.  The campaign ends on Halloween night at midnight, so time is running out!

Production Begins... and a Halloween surprise!

Hello backers,

As we're sure you're aware, the remainder of the campaign was locked down on Friday, and we have final build lists now. So, the crafting begins! 

With only 120 Dice Towers to fully craft by the end of the month, October fulfillment gives every indication of being on track!

Shipping Email Notification

Most of you should have received an email on Friday confirming shipping details. To clarify, this is simply confirming your shipping address. October pledges will begin shipping very soon, however. Please keep an eye out for a shipping notification from Shipstation!

Now Live on Kickstarter for Halloween: A Cthulhu Mythos themed campaign from Wyrmwood!

We just wanted to take a moment to share our new campaign. It's a short campaign with extremely rapid turnaround - only two weeks after the conclusion of the campaign, for the first 400 backers! It's designed to honor the season - and one of our favorite authors, H.P. Lovecraft.  

In 2013, Wyrmwood created the original Dice Vault, a luxurious wooden case for a set of polyhedral role playing dice. Handcrafted, featuring foam lining and a magnetic enclosure, it remains the finest way to store and carry your favorite set of dice.

In honor of this most hallowed season, and in tribute to the beloved work of horror legend H.P. Lovecraft, Wyrmwood presents a limited edition collection of Dice Vaults, with engravings and inlay in a script inspired by the mad cults and dread writings replete throughout the New England author's works. Lockdown News, Roll The Dice & Introducing: WYRM LYFE

Hey backers!

First, a quick reminder about BackerKit lock down:

October pledges will be locked down this Friday, 9/28.  All other pledges will be locked down next Friday, 10/5 - at which time all BackerKit pledges with balances will be charged.  If you haven't finalized your order, please do so ASAP!

Roll The Dice

We have had an abundance of questions concerning Roll The Dice (RTD), so we wanted to take some space in an update to address them, as well as clarify the intention of RTD, what it is, and what it isn't.

Roll The Dice is a specific item, or set of items, in a randomly chosen wood (including a text engraving on your Dice Vault).  It's ideal if you have no preference when it comes to wood, or if purchasing as a gift for someone who does not have a preference (or whose preferences are unknown).

We bring this up, because we want to make sure all of our backers are thrilled with what they receive, and if any Roll The Dice result might cause you disappointment, we recommend you reconsider pledging at that level, and instead choose a wood you know you'll love and avoid any potential disappointment.  This will ensure you will be fully satisfied with your pledge - which is always our goal.

Roll The Dice was conceived as a win/win; backers get a fun experience with some mystery, and as a bonus, a chance at luxurious exotic woods at a modest price, while we get to structure our production with known numbers of the RTD spread, and fulfill orders more efficiently as a result.  This is the spirit of Roll The Dice.

Bearing all of this in mind, what if you receive RTD and you find you are dissatisfied with your pledge?  As always, contact us and we'll address the issue; we can accept a return of your RTD pledge and award you credit in the amount of your pledge to put towards a specific item of your choice, or offer a refund.

If, as a result of this update, you'd like to change your pledge, please do so - remember that BackerKit is not yet locked, so you're free to update your selection, even if you pledged at a "Roll The Dice" tier specifically!  If you have any issues or would like help updating your pledge, just reach out and let us know.

Lastly - as far as RTD results go, we will be rolling these on Friday!  If you wish to know your RTD roll, please reach out this weekend and we will get back to you ASAP with the result. :)

Backerkit Surveys and Late Pledges

Backerkit Surveys Go Out Today!

Hello backers, 

Apologies for the short spell of radio silence! We've been hard at work making sure everything is squared away for today. Those waiting on a response will receive one shortly, please keep an eye out! Surveys will go out ASAP.

To stress the timeline again - October delivery backers will only have two weeks to answer their surveys. On September 28th, we will be locking down all October surveys that have been answered and planning/launching production. One week after that, on October 5th, the remaining pledges will be locked down and all cards will be charged.

We know our Kickstarters can be a little confusing, so if you run into any issues with the survey or if you have any questions please let us know.

Preorders

Along with surveys going out, preorders will be going live ASAP. If you know someone who wasn't able to back the campaign but still would like to late pledge, now is their opportunity! 

We will send out another brief update when both of these are live as well!
